| Cardiff gallery G39 commissioned this
work in 2000 as part of a group show which asked four artists
to make works using materials from the Hyper Value chain of
shops. The resulting work is called Out of Body. A man’s
suit ascends within a halo of light but is held back by the
cables that power the lights. The power source is a chair made
from 100 adaptors which are plugged directly into a live floor
socket. |
