These
photographs are made using electro-luminescent wire, which
is shaped around a profile and moved while the camera shutter
is left open in total darkness. The objects are typically
1-2 metres high and take about a minute to execute. They
are part of an experimental process started during the ‘Looking
for Darkness’ project, using photography to record
light events that are otherwise invisible.
